About Aarhus Airport

Aarhus Airport’s ambition is to connect Eastern Jutland with popular cities and other attractive destinations. With departures to destinations throughout Europe, the airport aims to meet the expectations of the East Jutland business community as well as of leisure travelers in the airport’s catchment area. In 2019, Aarhus Airport was awarded the ‘Airport of the Year Award’ by the European Regions Airline Association (ERA). That same year, the airport rounded up 500,000 passengers. Aarhus Airport is owned by Aarhus Municipality, private investor Staus A / S, Syddjurs Municipality and Norddjurs Municipality. It takes about 35 minutes to reach Aarhus Airport from the center of Aarhus.
